Lilwin’s film A Country Called Ghana has received another nomination that may lead to an award for his remarkable work directed earlier this year by Fiifi Gharbin.
The film, featuring both Ghanaian and Nigerian actors, has been chosen for recognition at a film festival in Nigeria.
Lilwin announced this exciting development on his Instagram page, expressing his happiness about the film’s significant international progress, despite the initial lack of support from Ghanaians and the controversies that surrounded its release.
The Rivers International Film Festival is organized by an indigenous association Desgol Entertainment Worldwide which is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission here in Nigeria.
The festival destination for this second edition is Port Harcourt, the Garden City of Nigeria.
