DJ Slim, in the latest edition of his ‘Street is Watching’ podcast, descended on MC Portfolio, criticizing him for what he calls a hypocritical move after accepting GH¢ 5,000 from dancehall artist Shatta Wale.

1. Hypocrisy Allegations: DJ Slim expressed disappointment, accusing MC Portfolio, a known member of Stonebwoy’s camp, of hypocrisy for accepting money from Stonebwoy’s rival, Shatta Wale.

2. Betrayal to the BHIM Camp: Slim emphasized that Portfolio had let down the BHIM camp by accepting the money. He stated, “Right on Angel FM, in front of everyone, he openly said that Sammy Flex gives him money. When he met Shatta, you could see his mixed feelings; he couldn’t articulate himself properly.”

3. Past Incidents with Shatta Wale: DJ Slim highlighted past interactions between MC Portfolio and Shatta Wale, mentioning that Portfolio had previously worked with Shatta during the Kumasi Invasion project, leading to an incident where Shatta’s bodyguards slapped him.

4. Allegiance Questioned: Slim questioned why Portfolio would want to be on the same show with Shatta after publicly declaring his allegiance to Stonebwoy on social media and discussing TGMA-related conversations with him. “Once you choose to support Stonebwoy, you should stick with that; you can’t switch sides and support Shatta,” Slim asserted.

5. Public Acceptance of Money: DJ Slim criticized how MC Portfolio accepted the money from Shatta Wale, suggesting it should have been done privately. “If Shatta really wanted to give you money, he would have done it behind the scenes, not on national television.”

6. Loyalty to Stonebwoy: Slim pointed out that Stonebwoy had actively supported Portfolio, making it contradictory for him to accept money from Shatta Wale. “Stonebwoy gave you exposure, and you turned down his offer. Yet, you accepted money from Shatta Wale on TV.”

7. Future Credibility: DJ Slim raised concerns about Portfolio’s future credibility, especially in criticizing Shatta Wale after accepting his money. He posed a question: “Now that you’ve settled your differences with Shatta Wale, will you still criticize him when you sit on shows?”

8. Support for Andy Dosty: The Hitz FM presenter also noted that Portfolio did not stand up for Andy Dosty when Shatta Wale publicly disrespected him, questioning how people who work with Andy would now view Portfolio.

During a recent media tour in the Ashanti region, Shatta Wale visited stations such as Angel FM and Fakye Showbiz.

While on Fakye Showbiz, he explained why he had blocked MC Portfolio on X, revealing that the block was a result of disrespect he received from Portfolio and DJ Slim during a previous program. Additionally, Shatta Wale offered MC Portfolio GH¢ 5,000.

In response, MC Portfolio, who is a strong supporter of Stonebwoy, made it clear on Fakye Showbiz that he wants no part in the ongoing rivalry between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

He emphasized that he does not wish to be dragged into their disputes.
