50 Cent’s latest project, Den of Thieves 2, has struck gold at the box office, debuting at No. 1 and outperforming its predecessor on its opening day.
According to Variety, the action-packed sequel, produced by 50 Cent, brought in a solid $5.8 million on its first day, surpassing the original Den of Thieves, which earned $5.6 million back in 2018.

Unlike the first film, 50 Cent takes a step back from the screen in this installment, though the return of O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Gerard Butler, who reprise their roles, adds a familiar touch for fans.
Reflecting on the film’s strong start, 50 Cent shared his excitement on Instagram, saying, “Check me out – Den of Thieves 2 🎥 #1 in theaters.
What a way to kick off 2025!” With this success, the film is poised to have a significant impact as the year unfolds.
