Unfortunately, there are certain types of individuals who should never marry. They are not suitable for sustaining a marriage.

- Immature people
These are the people who haven’t grown up yet, and some of them may never grow up. They don’t want to get older and have to pay bills and be responsible. They want to go out every night with their friends as if they were single. These people complains to their mother every time instead of talking to their partner. Because of that, more than one marriage has failed.
- The narcissist
The narcissist only wants things to go his or her way. A narcissist can’t admit when they’re wrong and gets angry when others try to make their needs known.
- Those with commitment concerns
People in this category are unable to settle down with anyone.Their first priority is the freedom to come and go as they choose. They see marriage as a prison and their partner as a ball and chain that prevents them from living. When they encounter someone younger and more appealing, their attention will immediately shift away from their partner. Infidelity will be a constant problem in their marriage. These folks frequently divorce their partners after cheating on them and remarry.
- The critic
You cannot seem to do or say anything correctly around this person. These kind of people only focus on our partner’s flaws and pass judgment. It is expressed through disapproving, critiquing, correcting, blaming, nitpicking, or fixing.
- Those who suffer from severe addiction
There are certain people who just cannot function normally without the use of drugs or alcohol. They drink to forget their problems rather than face them head-on. A partner who is addicted to drugs or alcohol will do a lot of damage to a marriage.
