24-Hour Economy: Maurice Ampaw Rallies Witches, Spiritualists To Fight Mahama

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has caused a stir among some Ghanaians by offering a strange interpretation of John Dramani Mahama’s proposed 24-hour economy.

The celebrity lawyer, who is evidently aligned with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called upon witches and spiritualists in Ghana to take action against NDC presidential candidate John Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy.

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw claims that John Mahama’s policy will ruin the work of witches and spiritualists in the country because they operate at night.

He argues that if John Mahama implemented his 24-hour economy policy, witches and spirits would not be able to operate because people would be awake and working at night. He urged witches and spiritualists to take a stand against John Mahama immediately.

Mahama’s 24-hour economy: What is it about?

Former President John Dramani Mahama reaffirmed his dedication to implementing his proposed 24-hour economy, underscoring its capacity to enhance employment opportunities and rejuvenate the Ghanaian economy. While addressing a campaign rally in the Bono East Region, Mr. Mahama stressed that his vision for a 24-hour economy goes beyond merely extending the operating hours of current businesses.

Mahama has reiterated his dedication to empowering the youth of Ghana by providing them with the required knowledge and expertise to guarantee a sustainable future. Furthermore, he has stated his desire to create a 24-hour economy. On 2023 International Youth Day, Mr. Mahama issued a statement outlining his government’s strategy to unlock the full potential of agriculture and invest in critical social and IT infrastructure to promote economic development.
