On Sunday night, the Screen Actors Guild gave out its annual awards for the best acting in movies and TV shows. The Los Angeles Fairmont Century Plaza played host to the event. Before the Oscars on March 12, this was the biggest award event of the year.
For the first time ever, the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards were broadcast live on Netflix’s YouTube account. The awards ceremony honoured the year’s best actors and actresses in film and television.
“Everything Everywhere All at Once” won the top award for outstanding cast in a film, as well as three of the acting awards for individual actors. The sci-fi movie also won the top prize at the 2023 PGA Awards.
Hence, the event, gathered many of the most renowned figures in Hollywood as well as some of the most promising breakout talent of the year, despite the fact that it wasn’t aired.
There was a true rainbow of dresses and outfits in blazing reds, vivid greens, cheery yellows, and a scattering of every shade of pink for a night with so much talent. Yet, the classic black, white, and silver were also heavily represented. A well-fitting, glittering gown is hard to mess up. Samples of these are shown below.
