“1923” Series Premieres on Paramount+ Sunday, Dec. 18

Plot: A new generation of Duttons make a life for themselves in Montana the time of Western expansion, Prohibition, and the Great Depression.

In the first instalment of the “Yellowstone” prequel series, entitled “1883,” viewers were given the opportunity to learn about James and Margaret Dutton, as well as how they came to settle in the rural areas of Montana.

Now, series creator Taylor Sheridan is delivering a sequel to that prequel with “1923.” 

At the conclusion of World War I and the beginning of the Prohibition era, Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren will take up the roles of the Duttons in their older years. In addition to them, the star-studded cast also features Robert Patrick, Timothy Dalton, and Jerome Flynn.
