The song Ogechi Remix by Davido, which celebrates his marriage to Chioma, has been taken down from YouTube.

This information, corroborated by several Nigerian blogs, indicates that the original track was owned by another artist who also released a song with the same title.

The remix was performed live on June 25, 2024, during Davido’s extravagant wedding to Chioma.

Featuring artists BoyPee, Brown Joel, and Hyce, the “Ogechi Remix” quickly became a fan favourite following its release. It was notably showcased at the wedding, which has been referred to in urban slang as Chivido24.

The music video was uploaded on July 19, 2024. According to Daily Post, while the video is no longer available, the audio can still be found on BoyPee’s official YouTube channel.

Recent updates suggest that Davido is not listed as the official artist for the song on YouTube.

A viral video has surfaced online, revealing that the original version of “Ogechi” was produced by a different artist prior to the remix.
