TikToker Salo has opened up about a near-death experience that left him with gunshot wounds and a burning resolve for justice.
Sharing his ordeal in an emotional video, he recounted being trailed and attacked by hired killers along Freedom Way in Lekki.
After weeks of battling for his life in the hospital, Salo emerged to narrate the terrifying sequence of events that began with an innocent outing and escalated into a nightmare.
“I had stopped for drinks and was heading to meet someone who promised me a million naira,” he began. But what seemed like an ordinary evening quickly took a dark turn when a group of men approached him, claiming to know him from Ibadan.

“They called me by my real name,” he recalled, his voice thick with emotion. “That’s when I knew—this wasn’t a coincidence. They wanted my life.”
Salo described the horrifying moment when one of the men stepped forward, pointing a gun at him. “He told me, ‘Remove your chain.’ Before I could even process what was happening, he fired a warning shot into the air.”
Refusing to bow to their demands, Salo held his ground—a decision that nearly cost him his life. “He shot me once. The pain was indescribable,” he said. “As I struggled to breathe, they fired two more times. I felt my life slipping away.”
Now on the mend, Salo’s words are filled with anger and defiance as he cursed those who orchestrated the attack.
“You’ll never know peace. Those who pointed their guns at me will die one by one, in pain. I won’t forgive this. On earth and in heaven, you’ll suffer for what you’ve done.”
His story is a chilling reminder of the violence lurking in unexpected places. Yet, Salo’s resilience and determination to tell his tale have resonated with many, sparking calls for accountability and justice.
As investigations continue, Salo’s survival stands as both a testament to his strength and a sobering reflection of a society grappling with insecurity.
