Actress Grace Omaboe has issued a stern warning to men who play with the emotions of women who truly care for them, emphasizing the serious consequences that may follow their actions.
In an interview with TV3, the Akan Drama star and activist expressed these views in anticipation of her upcoming book launch, titled The Unforgettable, which delves into various dimensions of her character.
She noted that the book, which reflects on her relationships and other personal experiences, serves as a valuable resource for all, imparting important lessons, including a strong message to men about the importance of treating women with respect.
“Every lady needs to read that book. The men too, you need to read the book and know how to treat a lady well because if you don’t treat them well, it can turn back on you.
“Don’t play hunky-panky with a woman who opens up her heart and shows you love, does everything for you while you are doing other things. That one you will actually pay for it,” she said.
Maame Dokono announced her upcoming book launch on September 7, 2024, which will mark her 60 years in the movie industry.
The memoir will delve into various aspects of her life, such as her experiences giving birth to all six of her children via C-section, her interactions with former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, and her journey in the movie industry, among other subjects.
Grace Omaboe began her career as a writer for Osofo Dadzi in the 1970s, before transitioning to acting in the series Keteke, which she co-produced.
She gained recognition for her role in the Ghanaian State-owned TV series, Keteke, and went on to become a highly sought-after actress.
