You Knew He Couldn’t Stick to One Woman – Sir Dickson Addresses Annie Idibia

The unfolding saga between Nigerian music legend 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia) and his actress wife, Annie Idibia, continues to dominate conversations online.

Among the numerous opinions flying around, social media commentator Sir Dickson added his voice, offering a polarizing take on the couple’s decision to part ways after years of a tumultuous relationship.

Dickson’s comments, shared via X (formerly Twitter), delve into themes of personal responsibility and the nature of love.

“We accept the love we think we deserve,” he began, addressing Annie’s longstanding decision to remain in a relationship that had weathered its fair share of challenges.

“Annie suffered with him. What exactly did she suffer with him? She has never been rich herself. 2Baba is the one with the money. If you’re talking about infidelity, she CHOSE to stay with him knowing he loves to sleep around.

“He has never hidden the fact he can’t stick to one woman. She is not a victim,” he wrote, dismissing the narrative of Annie being an unsuspecting party in the marriage’s ups and downs.

Expanding on the topic, Sir Dickson highlighted that 2Baba’s decision to end the marriage was valid, irrespective of Annie’s sacrifices. “2face choosing not to stay with her for his own reason is valid.

“He doesn’t have to stay with her simply because she chose to stay with him. Her reason for choosing him is personal. His reason for quitting is personal. There are rumors she is a violent person anyway.”

Dickson didn’t mince words in addressing public reactions to the divorce, particularly those fixated on who initiated it.

He took a dig at the idea of staying in toxic marriages under the guise of societal expectations.

“When I ask you to throw toxic relationships away, you say, ‘How can you just ask married people to throw their partner away?’ Okay, die there. You all know this marriage has never been healthy. You don’t have a problem with the divorce; your anger is that Annie is not the one breaking up.”
