Kwame Oboadie has expressed strong disapproval while observing the recent conflict between media figures Xandy Kamel and Kaninja.
The influential media personality and actor harshly criticized Kaninja for his derogatory remarks about his ex-wife, including offensive comments about her personal hygiene.
Oboadie firmly believes that Kaninja displayed a lack of intelligence by publicly demeaning his former wife, especially considering that they had been married for nearly two years. He emphasized that only a foolish man would make such disrespectful statements, as Kaninja did about his former wife.
King Kaninja has broken his silence on his divorce from actress Xandy Kamel after several years. In a recent online statement, King Kaninja refuted Xandy Kamel’s claim that she was left with only a small amount of money after their separation.
He alleged that instead of contributing to household expenses, his ex-wife had spent a significant portion of her earnings on a female companion. This revelation came after Xandy Kamel’s interview with Delay, where she disclosed that despite having over GHc30,000 in her account, she was left with just a little over GHc100 at the time of their divorce. She also asserted that she had been the primary financial provider during their marriage.
In response to Xandy Kamel’s remarks, King Kaninja explained that he had chosen to remain silent on the matter for an extended period. He used a metaphorical comparison, likening himself to an eagle and Xandy Kamel to a pig, to convey his reluctance to engage in a mud-slinging contest with her.
However, due to her recent allegations, he felt compelled to speak up. King Kaninja denied using Xandy Kamel’s money for his own purposes and instead claimed that she had prioritized spending on her female companion. He further alleged that Xandy Kamel lacked even the basic housekeeping skills to make their matrimonial bed or clean their house.
Concluding his statement, King Kaninja advised Xandy Kamel to stop seeking male attention and warned her that he would continue to address her claims publicly.
