Afia Schwarzenegger is no stranger to controversy, and the recent revelation from her rival, lawyer and writer Chris Vincent Agyapong, that she’s working as an Uber driver in the United States, was no different.
But rather than shy away from the news, the actress and socialite has embraced it, owning her decision with pride and delivering a bold response to the critics.
In a video shared with her fans, Afia openly confirmed the claim, saying, “Yes, I drive for Uber in the United States. What’s the big deal?” She expressed disbelief over the public reaction, noting that her followers were inundating her with questions as though her career move was somehow a shocking revelation.

But Afia didn’t let the criticism faze her. She reminded her fans that she had actually hinted at this in the past, explaining that if her driver’s license permitted her to work for Uber, she would seize the opportunity without hesitation.
“I’ve always said this—if my driver’s license qualifies me to work for Uber, why not? It’s a legitimate job,” Afia remarked, downplaying the drama surrounding the news.
She went a step further, offering a perspective that many of her critics likely hadn’t considered. “It takes intelligence to engage in this type of work.
“A lot of people, especially immigrants, won’t even consider it, but I see it as a lucrative opportunity. I’m making money on my terms,” she said, emphasizing the empowerment she feels in being financially independent and charting her path.
