Yaa Pono, recognized for his love of feuds in the industry, has posted a cryptic message that has sparked a new discussion in the entertainment news in Ghana and on various social media platforms.
In his post, Yaa Pono referred to himself as a dragon, stating that he had been asleep for a while and had let other animals misbehave.
This post comes shortly after his long-time rival Shatta Wale performed the song ‘Say Fi’ during his Pent Hall Week artiste night. The song was a diss track aimed at Yaa Pono over seven years ago during the height of his ongoing feud with Shatta Wale.
As a result, fans eagerly await another showdown between the two artists, which will undoubtedly give them plenty to discuss in the gossip columns.
The controversial rapper posted: “Na Aboa no Ada .. the dragon was asleep. ?????44??”
In 2020, the duo reconciled after a prolonged feud that lasted for more than three years. They were sighted at Club Onyx, which is owned by musician D Black, enjoying each other’s company.
Shatta Wale and Yaa Pono were seen sharing hearty laughs, with some fans present applauding them for their mature handling of their strained relationship.
The rift between Yaa Pono and Shatta Wale started in 2017 when the former was barred from performing at a show at Cape Coast Stadium, where the latter was the main act.
Yaa Pono later explained that he chose not to go on stage to avoid overshadowing Shatta Wale’s performance.
