Work Hard- Bulldog To Fantana On How She Become A Household Name In The Industry

Bulldog thinks it was incorrect for Fantana to claim to be the biggest Dancehall artiste in Ghana when, in reality, her discography does not support that assertion.

Fantana recently caused a stir on the Netflix series “Young, Famous and African” when she claimed that she was the biggest dancehall musician in Ghana.

Fantana was previously signed to Rufftown Records until she abruptly parted ways with the energetic record label.

While her statement sparked ‘commotion’ on social media, experts of the popular United Showbiz program on UTV on Saturday examined the matter and shared their thoughts about it.

Bullgod refuted her claim, stating that she lacks the repertoire necessary to claim to be the biggest dancehall musician.

Fantana is ineligible to be ranked among the greatest artists in Ghana, in his opinion, because she lacks the repertory that every major artist should have.

However, Bulldog Fantana still has what it takes to be a household name in the industry. He stated;

If you weigh the matter, she is not. You need a lot of catalogs to do that…For somebody to say they are big, if Sarkodie says he is big, there are works to show, likewise, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy because there are works to show. Patapaa had one of the biggest songs in Ghana but he never ended up being a big artiste because he didn’t continue the catalog.

That’s what makes you an artiste and Fantana doesn’t have it. She is talented. She is beautiful. She has everything to be the biggest, maybe she is talking about her future. So, when she comes, she should put in the work.

The songstress whose real name is Francine Nyanko Koffi, was in the news recently when he explained why she doesn’t donate money to people on social media.

Fantana said in an interview with 3Fm that she likes to pray over money before giving it to people, so she prefers to meet them in person before doing so.

She said she is cautious about donating money to strangers because she cannot be sure that they won’t use it for evil. She said that she is more willing to help people financially in person than on social media.

She stated;

For me, if I see you physically, then I can pray over the money before I can give it to you, I don’t just send strangers money, because I don’t know if you’re a witch, I don’t know. If I see you face-to-face, yeah I’ll give you.
