Efia Odo has shared a post that has been interpreted by many as a direct jab at Stonebwoy, who has been campaigning for the Artiste of the Year award at the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
In her post, she argues that if filling stadiums is the criteria for winning the award, then no Ghanaian artist can surpass Fancy Gadam.
Efia Odo’s statement is based on Stonebwoy’s successful Bhim Nation and final tour of the 5th Dimension album, which took place at the Accra Sports Stadium and attracted one of the largest crowds in recent times.
Furthermore, Stonebwoy has also been actively expressing his deservingness for the Artiste of the Year award on social media, subtly implying that he is more deserving than King Promise, who is being supported by other groups of Ghanaians.
Despite Stonebwoy’s efforts, Efia Odo is not impressed with his actions and has urged Ghanaians to disregard the Bhim Nation boss and instead vote for King Promise.
Her Tweet read “I think it’s cuz Shatta and sark has won it twice so that means he too he wants it twice(I’ve not mentioned names ) .
“The old man should should just leave it for the kids cuz it’s evident that numbers don’t lie. If you like let’s compare king promises numbers to others . If doing doing shows at the stadium is a yardstick, like fancy gadam Sef should win AOTY, SIMPLE”.
Meanwhile, the event is scheduled to take place on June 1 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
