Kwaku Manu is providing valuable advice on marriage during a recent interview, and we can expect diverse reactions from Ghanaians and beyond.
The popular Kumawood actor and entrepreneur emphasized the importance of living separately from extended family members to foster a healthy and thriving marriage.
According to him, this decision is crucial for both the preservation of one’s marriage and personal tranquillity. These insights were shared during his conversation with celebrity blogger Zionfelix.
He said
It will be proper not to stay with your family when you get married. I say this because I believe you’ll lose your respect if you do that. It goes both ways. If you’re a man or a woman, you should never agree to stay at your family house or bring your family to live with you and your husband or wife. You may be a good person, but the family will certainly take you for granted.
In a different interview conducted in September 2023 and captured by Tru News Report, Kwaku Manu spoke with Nana Romeo on Accra FM and opened up about his reasons for leaving the SDA church.
He believed that the only way he could become a great actor was to reject all of the beliefs and dogmas that the church upheld. As a well-known actor, Kwaku Manu claimed that he needed spiritual support to carry out his mission, but his church prevented him from doing so.
He claimed that shortly after leaving the SDA, he achieved success with the film “Aware So,” in which he popularized the phrase “Wo Ye Me Taste.”
Beyond that, the Kumawood actor went political and spoke about the current state of the economy under the tutelage of Nana Akufo Addo and how several Ghanaians are fleeing the country to find a haven in America and Europe.
