Popular TikToker Felicia Osei has thrown more light on the widely speculated gossip that she and other mainstream Tiktokers rejected a sum of ₵3,000 from United Television (UTV) because it smacked of insult to them.
Recall that the annual UTV Day With The Stars which also coincides with the birthday of Fadda Dickson (the Managing Director of the Despite Media Group) saw the assemblage of mainstream Ghanaian celebs.
Essentially, about 21 TikTokers were also invited to grace the occasion with their influence. Thereafter, it was gathered that the management of the station offered a sum of ₵3,000 to all the invited TikTokers to share. This means each person was to receive a paltry ₵142.
The report added that feeling disrespected and disappointed by the offer, the TikTokers refused to take the money.
To this end, Felicia in a fresh interview on Onua FM streamed live on Facebook said they actually didn’t reject the money as being brandished about. She said they felt it was not right to accept a gift from Fadda Dickson as they should have rather given him a gift to commemorate his birthday.
