Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, widely referred to as Ajagurajah, has stirred discussions by revealing that neither he nor his followers participate in Ghana’s electoral process.
The founder of the Ajagurajah Movement, a spiritual group known for its unique practices, shared his reasoning behind this stance, drawing attention to the growing complexities of faith and politics.

In an interview with Smart Ghana, Ajagurajah emphasized his lifelong abstinence from voting, stressing his belief in staying neutral in political affairs.
“My church members and I don’t vote. I’ve never voted in my life,” he declared. He went further to reveal his personal ritual for election seasons, stating, “I will leave Ghana before December 7 and return only after the results are announced.”
Ajagurajah attributed this approach to his spiritual convictions, explaining that he values impartiality and foresight overactive political participation.
The bishop expressed confidence in his perspective, even claiming insight into the outcomes of contentious political debates. “Everyone is sharing their opinions.

“I’ve told my children that I know who is right in all the controversies, and I know who will cry someday,” he said cryptically, hinting at a deeper spiritual understanding.
