Why I Stopped Being A Christian—Pappy Kojo

Pappy Kojo has shed light on his decision to distance himself from Christianity. He said that despite being a dedicated Christian during his youth, he started to question certain aspects of the religion, leading to a shift in his beliefs.

The ‘Aye Late’ rhymer said that when he matured and encountered different life experiences, his perspective transformed.

Pappy Kojo openly shared these insights during his appearance on the “If More, Let’s Divide” podcast.

“I was a devout Christian a while back, but not anymore. Now, I couldn’t be a Christian even if you paid me. I’m sorry. I grew up. I just realized that the same things are not reality anymore.

There’s a difference between Christianity and reality. And I just realized that this is real life, they aren’t the same thing. Maybe it was cool when I was young, but you just know there’s a difference as you grow up.”

Additionally, he questioned the genuineness of miracles and some of the theatrical performances staged within churches. He expressed his scepticism, stating that despite numerous claims made by Christians regarding miracles, he has yet to witness one firsthand.

“Miracles too, was another thing I always doubted. I always heard about miracles here and there, but I have never seen anyone do miracles,” he said.
