The controversial circumstances surrounding Nana Ama McBrown’s departure from United Television (UTV) have resurfaced, following her recent interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat regarding her exit from the network.
McBrown was a prominent figure on the United Showbiz program and also hosted McBrown’s Kitchen, both of which are among UTV’s most popular shows.
However, her abrupt exit was marked by drama and speculation that captured the attention of both social and mainstream media.
According to her, the primary motivation for her departure was the pursuit of new challenges that offered opportunities for personal growth.
“If I’m no:t feeling good, I would want to move on…peacefully, because I know where my vision is.”
She then clarified that money has nothing to do with her move; “It’s not about the money or a better offer. It’s about seeking new opportunities and aligning with my vision.”
McBrown further stressed her commitment to continuous growth. “If I get tired or feel stagnant, I will move on. It’s like that with every human.”
Additionally, the actress highlighted that her exit was not a result of exhaustion or discontent with the program or its crew.
“I’m not tired of hosting… It’s not the environment, and it’s not the people. It’s me.”
