Ghanaian actor and Real News host, Akwasi Boadi, who is professionally known as Akrobeto, has explained why he no longer takes photographs with fans.
In an interview with experienced sports journalist Dan Kwaku Yeboah on his YouTube channel, Akrobeto explained that his images have been misused in criminal activities.
He stated that individuals have exploited his likeness to commit offences against various people, which has led him to choose to refrain from taking pictures with fans.
“Someone used my picture to impregnate a 16-year-old girl. He met the girl in a car and showed her his pictures with me.
“The girl fell for his lies and slept with her. After impregnating her, the guy was nowhere to be found. Her mother came to me with the picture to ask if I knew the guy but he wasn’t someone who I recall I’ve ever met.
He also disclosed that others have exploited his photographs for their own selfish purposes, which has led him to decline requests for photos from fans during encounters. He stressed that this decision should not be seen as a display of arrogance.
