Ramsey Nouah has disclosed the reasons behind his swift decision to appear in Lilwin’s film titled, A Country Called Ghana when approached by the actor.

During an interview with Kofi Adoma on set, the veteran Nigerian actor, who enjoys a considerable fanbase in Ghana, expressed his deep connection with the storyline and believed it aligned perfectly with his skills and experience.

Having gained immense popularity from his role in the 1999 film ‘Silent Night,’ Nouah emphasized that reconnecting with his Ghanaian fans was of utmost importance to him, as it had been quite a while since his last visit.

“When this came to my table, I said, Come on, let me go back; let me go see Ghana again. Let’s see what’s going on, what’s been happening, why the disconnect, and what’s happening during the process. I know that it’s still there, but it’s not as vibrant as it used to be back then. That is the main reason why I came on board.

Even before I started listening to the character, and wanting to know the script and the story, I had already told myself that I needed to find a way to reconnect whatever I had lost here,” he said.

He mentioned being impressed by the story as it cleverly discusses political space through satire.
