Shatta Wale has taken the opportunity to remind his longtime rival, Stonebwoy, that he began his music career while he (Stonebwoy) was still in class two.

With a hint of sarcasm, he challenged the Bhim Nation boss to present his cassette, referencing a time when digital platforms and social media were not available, and artists relied on cassettes to distribute their music and earn income.

This comment came in response to Stonebwoy’s recent remarks expressing his ongoing concerns regarding an article on the Grammy website written by Kojo Mula, which has sparked considerable discussion online.

Shatta Wale stated;

“Because the media brainwashed many people about shatta wale ,Today you Stonebwoy want to be added to Pioneers of Hip-Life .. Ah !! 😂😂😂but the time I start music u deh class 2 oooo😂😂 You see say the Load dem take carry you no be your Load …You go explain Taya 😂😂😂 Psalms 35 deh eat you 🔥🔥🔥🔥🩸🩸🩸🩸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Ok just show me your cassette 😂😂😂😂😂😂”

It would be recalled that Stonebwoy faced criticism from fans for attempting to gain validation regarding a recent article published on the Grammy website, which discusses the origins of Hiplife and pays tribute to the pioneers whose remarkable vision and creativity sparked a musical revolution across the African continent.

The article recognizes influential artists such as Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and Samini, as well as emerging talents like Black Sherif and King Paluta.

The article highlighted the origins of Hiplife and urban music in Ghana, showcasing its significant influence across various African nations.
