Controversial Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has claims that Mohbad’s mother is withholding crucial information about the tragic incident.
In a direct response to a press conference organized by Mohbad’s mother and other family members demanding justice for the artist, VDM raised eyebrows by accusing the family of hiding something critical about Mohbad’s demise.
“I dey look the whole Mohbad matter, I just dey observe,” VDM said, expressing his ongoing concern about the mystery surrounding the circumstances of the singer’s death.
“So Audra wan talk, him mama no gree, and she wants justice. The mama say na so Dem do until Dem kpai Mohbad. Who kpai Mohbad? Mama, since you know, tell us. She is definitely hiding something… What has Mama been promised?”
The press conference, which was held in an attempt to seek justice for Mohbad, took a dramatic turn when actor Yomi Fabiyi accused Mohbad’s brother of demanding ₦3 million for a video purportedly showing a confrontation between Mohbad and his wife.
The allegation immediately sparked tension, with Mohbad’s mother intervening, clearly upset by the accusations against her family.
She condemned Fabiyi’s remarks, calling them an unwarranted attack on her only surviving son, further fueling speculation about the family’s internal dynamics.
While the family’s public quest for justice has been met with some sympathy, VDM’s claims have added a new layer of controversy to the situation.
The activist’s question, “What has Mama been promised?” suggests that there could be a deeper, more complex situation at play that the public is not fully aware of.
