A young Ghanaian content creator has taken to TikTok to address Afia Schwarzenegger’s ongoing public attacks on former President John Dramani Mahama.
In her video, the TikToker expressed frustration at the relentless criticism Afia has directed toward the NDC flagbearer, questioning the motivations behind the insults.
“Afia, what exactly do you want from His Excellency John Dramani Mahama? Usually, I avoid getting involved in these topics, but this is becoming too much and quite frankly, it’s annoying,” the TikToker stated.
She urged Afia to focus her political commentary on the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the party she openly supports, rather than dragging Mahama’s name into constant controversy.
“No one is forcing you to support the NDC or campaign for them. You’ve chosen the NPP, and that’s fine, so why not stick to talking about their policies? Is that really too much to ask?” she added.
Afia Schwarzenegger, a media personality known for her provocative remarks, has recently escalated her attacks by accusing her former close friend, Deloris Frimpong Manso (popularly known as Delay), of having an affair with Mahama.
Afia claims that Delay allegedly received money and a car in return for the supposed relationship, further inflaming tensions surrounding her continuous verbal assaults on Mahama.
The TikToker expressed deep frustration, calling for a higher level of respect for Mahama. “John Mahama is a responsible man with a family to protect.
“If for nothing else, at least respect that,” she said, adding that Afia’s behaviour reveals more about her own character than it does about the people she targets. “Do you not realize that the way you talk about people once your friendship ends says more about you than them?” she asked.
She concluded her appeal with the NDC slogan, “Eye zu,” urging Afia to stop the personal attacks and leave Mahama’s private life out of political discourse.
Afia Schwarzenegger’s vocal criticism of John Dramani Mahama has been ongoing, largely stemming from her political alignment with the NPP.
Her personal feud with Delay, who had previously been her close friend, has only intensified the drama, with Afia using her platform to throw accusations at both Delay and Mahama.
These attacks have not only caught the attention of Ghanaians but have also sparked a debate about how personal and political matters intersect in public discourse.
