Machine Gun Kelly is grappling with an overwhelming sense of loss following the passing of his best friend, professional snowboarder Luke “The Dingo” Trembath.
In an emotional tribute shared on social media, the rapper and rocker expressed his deep sorrow, emphasizing how irreplaceable Dingo was in his life.
“Crazy… I didn’t even cry this hard when my dad died,” MGK admitted, revealing the depth of his grief. “I’ve lost a lot of friends, but I’ve never lost a brother. We’ll never get another Dingo on this planet.”

Describing Trembath as “a true rockstar without ever needing to make a song,” Machine Gun Kelly highlighted his friend’s larger-than-life personality.
He called him “the most loyal, loud, charismatic, funny, and annoying human I’ve ever had the honour of knowing.”
The musician then reminisced about the unforgettable moments they shared, from Trembath’s powerful handshakes and bellyflops to his ability to uplift any room he walked into.
“I’ll miss your epic toasts, I’ll miss dapping you up and my hand hurting every time because you had some odd amount of Australian strength going on,” MGK wrote.

“I’ll miss watching you walk through the door and lifting the energy of every pivotal event in my adult life. I’ll miss you pissing me off, but most of all, I’ll miss your laugh.”
The rapper also shared how difficult it was to break the news to his daughter, who had a close bond with Trembath.
“Telling my daughter you’re gone was one of my hardest phone calls because she loved you so much,” he revealed.
“MGK fondly recalled how, as a child, his daughter mispronounced Trembath’s nickname and instead called him “Ping Pong.”

In a poignant reflection, Machine Gun Kelly imagined his friend looking down from above, saying, “I feel like you’re up there with my new child, dressed up in a hilarious costume making them laugh, getting ready to send them down. I couldn’t ask for a more bittersweet birth blessing.”
He concluded his tribute with an emotional farewell, affirming that while life will never be the same without Trembath, his legacy will live on.
“Life will always be less without you, but legends never die. We’ll all miss you, brother.”
