Nollywood actress and producer, Mary Njoku, has reacted strongly to the announcement made by 2Baba (Innocent Ujah Idibia) regarding his separation and impending divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia.
The entertainment industry was taken by surprise on Sunday when 2Baba took to social media to reveal that he and Annie had been separated for some time and were finalizing their divorce.
In a post on her Instagram on Monday, Mary Njoku, who has maintained a respectful silence about the private issues of her fellow entertainers, expressed her disappointment at the way 2Baba has handled the situation.
“Bro, Annie has a family of many, your sisters-in-law are many, and we’ve stayed quiet out of respect for her tough choices,” Mary wrote.

“But since you’ve decided to humiliate her at her lowest, no wahala. It’s your choice, just make sure she’s healthy and ok.”
Her comments come after 2Baba shared his news with the public, stating, “I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now.
And currently filed for divorce.” This statement has stirred emotions, particularly among those close to Annie and within the Nollywood community.
The couple, who have two children together, had a long history before their marriage in 2012, with years of an on-and-off relationship.
