Rapper Edem has called on the incoming government to prioritize creating a stable environment for businesses and young entrepreneurs to thrive.
The musician emphasized that the country’s future lies in ensuring that young people have access to better opportunities for economic growth, beyond just financial handouts while exclusively to GhanaWeb’s Isaac Dadzie,
“I don’t think people in the country are asking for money,” Edem stated firmly. “We’re asking for ecosystems to thrive, for businesses to thrive, for young people to be able to access loans that don’t have high interest, for businesses to be able to do transactions and know that the dollar is going to be stable for maybe six months or a year.”
The rapper’s comments reflect a growing sentiment among the youth and business owners, who have been grappling with economic instability in recent years.
