Rudeboy has released a new video that subtly responds to the concerns expressed by his twin brother, Peter Okoye, as contained in an open letter addressed to him a few days ago.
During an Instagram Live session, Rudeboy interacted with his fans and posed a question to his brother about the possibility of preserving their brotherly bond despite the conclusion of their professional collaboration.
He implied that he still wishes to uphold their relationship as siblings, even amidst their ongoing online exchanges, despite the lack of progress in resolving their conflict.
In his words: “Even if we don’t do P-Square can’t we be brothers? Even if we can’t do music, can’t we be brothers? I don’t want to talk much, it’s so unfortunate.”
This comes days after Peter Okoye penned an emotional open letter to his brother Paul.
In light of recent reports suggesting that the pair has once again gone their separate ways, Peter expressed his feelings, questioning the rationale behind the ongoing disrespect he perceives from his brother.
He expressed concern over Paul’s tendency to give interviews that undermine Peter’s contributions to their collective success, often portraying himself as the dominant force and claiming to have written over 90 per cent of their songs. Peter contended that this portrayal is unjust.
He emphasized that whenever he discusses their collaborative work, he consistently uses inclusive language such as “we” and “us,” while Paul, even in Peter’s presence, tends to take sole credit for their musical achievements.
