Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena has opened up about his deep empathy for fellow entertainer Funny Face, who has been vocal about his struggles with mental health.

In an emotional interview on Adom TV, Kwabena Kwabena expressed how closely he identifies with Funny Face’s experiences, revealing that he had come dangerously close to facing similar mental health challenges.

“I wasn’t any far from what happened to my brother Funny Face,” Kwabena Kwabena shared, his voice heavy with emotion. His connection to Funny Face’s journey isn’t just from a distance; it’s a reflection of his own past struggles and near-collapse.

The highlife star explained that witnessing what Funny Face is going through resonates deeply with him. “Whenever I see the brother, I cry. Because when I close my eyes and reflect, I know…”

Funny Face, a well-known comedian and actor, has been open about his struggles with depression and bipolar disorder, which at one point led to a public breakdown, estranged relationships, and run-ins with the law.

“We should remember him in our prayers,” the singer urged viewers, highlighting the importance of emotional support and empathy for those going through such difficult times. His words resonate with many who recognize the immense pressures creatives face in balancing their public personas with their private struggles.
