Tru News Report has obtained footage capturing the moment police officers stormed Medikal’s house, attempting to arrest him and bring him to the police station.
This incident occurred shortly after Fella Makafui lodged a formal complaint with the Inspector General of Police, urging an investigation into the rapper’s actions.
In the petition addressed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Fella Makafui asked the police arrest Medikal for spreading false information, a violation of section 208 of the criminal code.
Fella Makafui initiated the petition shortly after Medikal posted about the police raiding her house at her request, following a confrontation between Medikal and her cousin.
The Resonance movie producer expressed that she is currently encountering serious threats to her safety as a result of the unfounded accusations made by Mr. Samuel Adu Frimpong (Medikal).
She further stated that Medikal’s baseless statements, which falsely alleged on social media that his life was at risk and wrongly implicated the occupants of his residence, violate the Electronic Communications Act 2008 (Act 775).
Per this new development, Medikal refused to go with the police officers who arrived to take him.
He stated that he was unaware of the accusation made against him regarding the dissemination of false information.
Despite acknowledging the police officers’ duties, he maintained his innocence and declined to accompany them.
