Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay, was filled with joy upon meeting and partying with Akon, the American singer of Senegalese descent, at a venue at a club in Ghana.
Unable to resist the moment, Delay swiftly took out her phone to capture a video selfie, while Akon mesmerized the crowd with his performance on the mic. As you can imagine, this new development has added a new aura to entertainment in Ghana.
Delay swiftly took to Instagram to share the video and, amidst the excitement of meeting a prominent individual, she referred to herself as the Ghanaian version of Oprah Winfrey in the caption accompanying the video.
Akon, being a regular visitor to Ghana, is no stranger to the country. He has a deep affection for Ghana and enjoys the vibrant atmosphere here.
In 2019, he made his way to Ghana to participate in the highly anticipated Year of Return 2019 event. Before that, he had also graced the Guinness Big Eruption concert, which took place on November 23, 2013, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
