A video of Nigerian singer Simi making fun of her husband Adekunle Gold’s hair has divided opinions on the internet.
Simi took on the role of being his personal hairdresser in the video, inviting her followers along while she styled his hair.
Adekunle Gold, who needed to go somewhere, was impatient with his wife. After plaiting the hair for some time, Simi asked her husband for his opinion.
Ridiculously, Adekunle Gold accused her of taking too long to do his hair. Simi responded to him and said that if they hadn’t already had a child, she would have cursed him.
Reacting to the video, adadeamponsah one fan observed: “If you are in a “serious” relationship, don’t try the last statement o before you hear “tawai”. I am talking to those who cannot cough until their odogwu says so.”
Simi, whose legal name is Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2008, titled Ogaju. She also played as one of the top judges in season 7 of the Nigerian idol TV show in 2022.
