Nollywood actor Ken Erics recently shared a video capturing the return of veteran actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, to his home after months of battling a life-threatening illness.
Mr Ibu had disclosed his health challenges in October 2023, seeking financial assistance for his medical condition. Various individuals and organizations contributed to cover his medical expenses.

Subsequently, Mr Ibu underwent amputation of one of his legs and has been recuperating in the hospital.
In the recent video posted on Ken Erics’ Instagram page, Mr Ibu is seen sitting in his living room, dressed in a burnt orange Jalabiya, engaging in a conversation with his fellow actor.
This marks the first visual update on Mr Ibu’s recovery since his discharge from the hospital, providing a glimpse into his current health status.
