In light of the enduring popularity of King Paluta’s chart-topping track Aseda, which remains a favourite among listeners across the country, his most recent composition, Makoma, is poised to follow a similar trajectory of success.
This track has rapidly gained popularity, thriving on various digital platforms. Its appeal is evident, with many Ghanaians captivated by its compelling lyrics and rhythm, as demonstrated by the numerous online videos showcasing individuals dancing to the song.
To this end, veteran Hiplife artist Tic Tac, celebrated for his work on Philomena and Fefe Ne Fe, has shared a video featuring a young man performing the song, together with a woman who is believed to be his sister.
They personalized the track, infusing it with a unique energy, which is believed to be a result of the song’s impact on them.
In response, Tic Tac, also known as TIC, credits the song’s success to King Paluta’s adeptness in blending Ghana’s rich musical heritage.
Tic Tac posted; “This song has the authentic Ghanaian music DNA. Everyone’s blood now has this DNA. So, anytime an artist triggers it. Their soul awakens, and there’s a dynamite-like blast”.
