Dr. Charles Ntiamoah-Mensah, a media mogul, entrepreneur, and associate pastor based in the United States, has been appointed by a U.N. Organization as an ambassador.
The United Nations (UN) has appointed the President and CEO of 3G Media Group as its Ambassador or Special Envoy in Media and Public Relations, with the rank of Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Special Envoy. He was given the high position by the Canadian International Chaplaincy Association in New York City. This is an NGO that has special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
The 3G Media Awards ceremony serves as a platform to acknowledge and honour outstanding individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership qualities and made significant contributions to both the Ghanaian and global communities. This year’s Awards was held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the FMC Banquet Hall, which is located at 2543 Marion Ave. in the Bronx, New York.
Dr. Devon Bannister surprised him with the appointment at the 12th Annual Mega 3G Awards and Celebrity Bash at the United Reformed Methodist Church on Marion Avenue and Bronx, New York. Word of Life Ministries International (WOLMI) is the first and only full gospel organisation to receive accreditation from the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
The Right Rev. Dr. the Honourable Philip S. Phinn, OEA, D-C.P.C., the President General of World of Life Ministries International (WOLMI), wrote these in a letter on October 7, 2023. The main ambassador to the United Nations in New York, Rev. Dr. Sharon J. Baquedo-Phinn, OEA, O.P.C., also signed it.
