Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has delved into her rare sense of humour on social media with her playful yet cheeky observation about online banter.
Taking to Instagram, the actress humorously called on Yoruba people to switch to English whenever they engage in heated exchanges online.
Referring to popular social media platforms as the “Obasanjo app,” Tonto quipped, “Dear Yoruba people, Abeg, when una dey try to fight (especially for this Obasanjo app), make una try dey fight with English. How we want take know who dey win fight?”

She didn’t stop there, extending her appeal to Ghanaians, whom she noted are also guilty of using their local dialects in online squabbles.
“Ghana people una dey this WhatsApp group too. Make una dey fight with English,” she added, injecting her signature humor by signing off as the “vawulence prefect.”
Her comments struck a chord with many who could relate to the struggles of following online drama when conversations switch to local dialects.
