Tiger Eye PI has responded to recent claims made by Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder of the International God’s Way Church, regarding investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
In a statement released on March 21, 2025, the investigative firm categorically denied allegations that Anas contacted Obinim to persuade him to join a lawsuit against politician Kennedy Agyapong.
“Tiger Eye PI categorically refutes these claims and urges the general public to disregard them. The allegations are entirely false and, at best, a fabrication,” the statement read.
The firm emphasized that Anas, as a seasoned lawyer, understands the legal processes available to him and does not need Obinim’s support to pursue legal action.
“As a lawyer with years of experience, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is fully aware of the legal remedies available to him. He does not require or seek the support of Bishop Obinim to pursue legal redress when necessary.
Moreover, Anas has no knowledge of Mr. Obinim’s contact details or residential address, making any alleged interaction between them not only implausible but impossible.”
Tiger Eye PI also expressed gratitude to Ghanaians and the international community for their continuous support following Anas’s recent legal victory.
“Tiger Eye PI deeply appreciates the unwavering support from Ghanaians both at home and abroad. Anas remains committed to the pursuit of justice and truth, and he is thankful for the continued solidarity of the public.”
