D-Black has expressed his dissatisfaction with the current Nana Akufo-Addo-led government, labelling it as the worst he has ever witnessed.
He attributes this judgment to the deteriorating quality of life, characterized by exorbitant prices of goods and services.
The prevailing poor economy has resulted in an alarming surge in poverty levels, a situation that D-Black vividly depicted in a post on X, as reported by Tru News Report.
Despite having previously disclosed his support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in past elections, the rapper and business mogul now highlights various issues plaguing the current government, such as the depreciation of the cedi and the scarcity of employment opportunities.
“This is the lowest I’ve ever seen the state of our country’s economy. No jobs for the youth. Entrepreneurs are going through it! Costs of goods and services keep rising. The Cedi keeps depreciating at an alarming rate. So much isn’t going well… The people are complaining,” D-Black tweeted on May 30.
In other D-Black news, the rapper recently shed light on the negative aspects of Ghana’s entertainment industry, highlighting the self-centred behaviour of certain artists who prioritize their interests over their colleagues.
During his self-produced show ‘Uncut with D-Black’, he exposed the deliberate refusal of some musicians to collaborate with others on projects.
Additionally, he disclosed instances where artistes would not recommend their peers for gigs, despite being approached by corporations seeking to host shows in Ghana.
