Radio personality and filmmaker Ola Michael has expressed strong criticism regarding the treatment of actress Moesha Boduong, particularly in light of a trending video that captured her recuperating from a stroke in a church.
The video, which has sparked widespread conversation on social media, raises questions about the motives behind its filming and the choices made by those surrounding Moesha during this vulnerable time.
In a statement on Okay FM during his show, Ola Michael stated, “Those who take care of Moesha have failed for taking her to such a small church to be videoed. Have they really considered her well-being?”
His remarks reflect his concern that the intentions behind the video were not purely supportive but rather aimed at showcasing the church’s supposed ability to heal, questioning the sincerity of the situation.

“Was she healed after visiting the church? What was the motive behind the video? It is to show that the church can pray for the stroke to go?” he asked, indicating that the focus seemed to be more on the spectacle than on genuine care for Moesha’s health.
The video, which has circulated widely, features Moesha receiving what appears to be prayer and support from church members. However, Ola Michael’s comments suggest that he views this public display as exploitative rather than beneficial.
“Whoever allowed the videoing wanted to disgrace Moesha,” he asserted, emphasizing that her dignity and privacy should have been prioritized over creating content for social media.
Moesha Boduong has been a controversial figure in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, often at the center of public scrutiny.
Her recent health struggles have drawn significant attention, and Ola Michael’s remarks highlight the ongoing debate about how public figures are treated during their moments of vulnerability.
In a society where mental health and wellness are increasingly recognized as essential, how Moesha’s recovery has been portrayed raises ethical questions about respect and compassion for those in need.
“We need to think about the impact of these actions on her recovery,” he warned, urging those around her to consider the emotional and psychological implications of their decisions.
