They Envy Me- Yul Edochie Drags Nollywood Colleagues

Actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie did not mince words during his appearance on Our Naija podcast, calling out his colleagues who have been envious of him and causing him trouble for the past few years.

He mentioned that many of his fellow actors join forces with trolls to drag him without any valid reason, even though he is more successful than all of them.

Yul Edochie stated that his peers in the industry envy him and launch unwarranted attacks against him, even though they are unaware of the full picture.

Despite facing criticism, he emphasized that he remains relevant and earns more than his detractors, some of whom still earn N150,000 per movie role even after a decade in the industry.

The actor said; “For the past two years, they have been dragging me, I am still here, doing very well better than many of them if not all of them.

Most of the Nollywood people who are against me, the truth is it is envy. Look at all of them, both the men and women line them up, I am finer than all of them. I am doing better than all of them.

There are some of them who have earned one hundred and fifty thousand per movie for the past 10 years, they don’t grow, for them it is envy.”
