Derrick Kobina Bonney has shared his reasons for being drawn to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during a town hall meeting held at the Bukom Arena.
The comedian whose stage name is DKB emphasized that the NDC is inclusive, highlighting its capacity to welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds.
According to DKB, this inclusivity is why individuals from various regions and ethnic groups across Ghana attend NDC events.
He said, “Which party is here, the NDC, right? Let me tell you, the NDC is the most non-tribalistic party in Ghana; everyone is here.”
During the same event, his clooeague SDK also used the opportunity to pose a question to John Dramani Mahama, highlighting the significant expense associated with data and the sluggish internet connectivity in the country.
He noted that the rising costs of internet data have made content production increasingly costly, while the persistent slow speeds and connectivity issues hinder their productivity in content creation.
SDK said, “I am also a content creator, and I agree with what my colleague just said. The issue of internet connectivity for we content creators is of major concern, and it is not only about the cost of the internet now but also the speed of it.”
