Shatta Wale’s manager, Sammy Flex, has addressed the ongoing friction between the dancehall star and certain media personalities, emphasizing that the misunderstanding is not from Shatta Wale’s end but rather from those who fail to grasp his perspective.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM, Sammy Flex stated, “Some people don’t understand what Shatta Wale has been saying and this is the problem between him and some media people.”

He refuted claims that Shatta Wale has completely cut ties with the media, clarifying that the artist still maintains relationships with select media professionals.
“You can’t say that Shatta Wale has gone a whole year without talking to the media and he has friends in the media who deal with him in different ways.”
According to Sammy Flex, Shatta Wale’s decision to be selective about his media engagements is a direct response to those who have issues with him.
He pointed out that having a manager with a media background has helped Shatta Wale navigate these challenges.
“Thank God that Shatta Wale has a manager who is a true media person, so if Shatta Wale says he doesn’t want to deal with the media, then obviously it is those who have problems with him.”
