“As for John Dumelo, some people were suggesting that he’ll fit at the Creative Arts Ministry because he’s an actor, but I beg to differ,” he stated.
For Ras Kuuku, Dumelo is more than just an actor. His recent years of hands-on experience in farming have set him apart as someone who understands the challenges of the sector.
“The President who appointed him knows the exact reason why John Dumelo, who is a creative arts person, has been sent to the Agric Ministry,” he noted, adding that Dumelo’s active involvement in farming proves his suitability for the role.
Beyond politics, Dumelo has used his platform to advocate for agriculture, inspiring young Ghanaians to take farming seriously.
His social media is filled with posts showcasing his farm work, reinforcing the idea that agriculture can be both lucrative and fulfilling.
“What the President sees in John Dumelo and has observed over the years might have contributed to the reason why he decided to give him that particular position,” Ras Kuuku explained.
