Ghanaian football legend Asamoah Gyan has opened up about his once-strained relationship with fellow footballer Prince Tagoe, attributing their past differences to external influences.
During an emotional live Instagram session, Gyan delved into the complexities of their friendship, the challenges he’s faced in his career, and his strained relationship with the Ghanaian political landscape.
“Prince Tagoe was brainwashed. People said bad things about me to him. I didn’t see eye to eye with him,” Gyan admitted, revealing the depth of the misunderstanding that clouded their camaraderie.
However, he was quick to acknowledge that, despite the conflict, Tagoe’s character remained steadfast. “He has a good heart, and he’s a good person,” Gyan said, underscoring his admiration for Tagoe.
