Michael Blackson, an American-born Ghanaian actor, has opened a new school in his hometown of Agona Nsaba in the country’s Central Region and officially opened it to the public. 

Pictures of the building, which main mission is “to provide a free education to all kids,” have been widely shared online, prompting many people to express their gratitude and well wishes.

The three-story building, known as “The Michael Blackson Academy,” features several classrooms and other facilities.

The 49-year-old actor officially broke ground on the structure in early 2020, and now, two years later, he has announced its completion via social media.
