Afrobeat musician and former signee of Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group, Kelvyn Boy, has lashed out over what he describes as baseless and damaging allegations.
Stonebwoy, during an interview on Angel FM in Kumasi, accused Kelvyn Boy of harbouring intentions to harm him during their time working together. This claim, however, has drawn a fiery rebuttal from Kelvyn Boy.
Taking to social media to air his frustrations, Kelvyn Boy vehemently denied the allegations. “The lies and defamation have become a bit much,” he began, expressing his disbelief over Stonebwoy’s accusations.
“What go ever give you the impression say I try end you? Everything at all I go fit gvee eye like I have for years but this? Nooo!”
Kelvyn Boy’s response seemed to reflect both frustration and a sense of betrayal. He addressed specific elements of Stonebwoy’s claims, refuting any suggestion of involvement with mutual acquaintances such as D-Black and Papa Loggy.
“Haven’t seen D-Black in 5 years or more!” he clarified, adding, “You know the things Loggy tell me about you too 2 years ago? Me and dem no be friends.”
The fallout between Kelvyn Boy and Stonebwoy, who once shared a mentor-protégé relationship, has been well-documented.
Kelvyn Boy parted ways with Burniton Music Group under contentious circumstances in 2019, with both artists hinting at unresolved issues.
