Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, is a name that resonates with many fans of the Kumawood film industry, where he has earned his stripes as one of the most influential actors in Ghana.

His success in the entertainment scene, however, isn’t confined to the big screen.

The multi-talented star has also ventured into music, where he has made considerable strides, even earning himself a loyal following.

Despite his achievements, LilWin has expressed deep frustration over what he perceives as a lack of recognition for his musical career.

In a candid interview with Papadat on Lawson FM, LilWin opened up about his struggle to gain acknowledgement in the music industry, despite his efforts and contributions.

“I’m doing extremely well as a musician, but sadly, the industry keeps trying so hard to ignore me,” LilWin stated, highlighting the challenges that many artists face when their hard work goes unnoticed.

“I’m not just an actor. I’ve worked hard as a musician, but instead of awarding entertainers who truly deserve it, the organizers prioritize those they know.

That’s the problem with our industry,” LilWin continued, emphasizing his frustration with the system.
