T.I. is turning the tables in his ongoing legal clash with Sabrina Peterson, filing a defamation lawsuit over three years after she first accused him of shocking actions, including an allegation that he held a gun to her head.
In new court documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper opens up about the fallout between him and Peterson, claiming that he and his family decided to distance themselves from her due to her negative influence.
T.I. alleges that after they parted ways, Peterson became fixated on him and his loved ones, resorting to a campaign of harassment and threats through social media.
The rapper calls Peterson’s accusations against him “false, unfounded, and designed to cause harm.” T.I. argues that the claims have deeply tarnished his reputation, leading him to seek unspecified damages for the damage done.
He also adds that Peterson’s troubling behaviour wasn’t limited to him, with others also taking legal action to shield themselves from her alleged harassment.
This legal drama isn’t new for T.I. and Peterson. Back in 2021, Peterson sued T.I. and his wife, Tiny, for defamation after she publicly accused the couple of harassment, including claims that T.I. held a gun to her head.
Peterson also insinuated that the couple had drugged and sexually abused women—allegations both T.I. and Tiny have strongly denied, with their lawyer describing it as part of an “extortion scheme.”
T.I.’s latest lawsuit aims to push back against what he calls baseless accusations, intensifying the already charged legal battle between the two.
This chapter is far from over, and T.I. is making it clear he’s ready to fight back with all the legal means at his disposal.
